Japan is getting destroyed by the USA in women's water polo.
I kinda feel sorry for Japan. If they weren't the host country, they wouldn't even be in this event

Finally got around to watching the opening ceremonies. Going thru the parade of nations now. Even tho its different this year with no crowd, still feels beautiful watching all the nations representing together and all the pride athletes show for their respective countries across the world. Very few events bring the world together like the Olympics, just sucks that the athletes aren't able to have a crowd and their loved ones there to celebrate. Especially those first timers who worked so hard to get there. I'll have to check out the schedule and the olympic website to see what events are on when. Time difference does suck but I'm usually a night owl anyways so not much of a bother, except for those early 6 am events.

This weightlifting is crazy. Got the 108 lbs girls out here lifting 250 in the Clean and Jerk. Makes no sense.
Wasn't expecting the flag carrier and a few other athletes from Japan to be black but maybe I don't know enough about that country.
