I think from a musical stand point I prefer Rayvn Lenae and Kalis Uchi over Summer Walker, Amber Mark and Jorja Smith. I think the latter 3 have more so image propelling them than their actual music.

Jorja sucks. She is all image

Summer has a lot of potential she’s just very raw

There are a couple songs that Jorja has that I quite like. I was in London earlier this summer and I was bumping her last album heavy. I guess the backdrop of London gave me greater appreciation of her work. Especially when I was in Shoreditch, which is akin to a Brooklyn of sorts in terms of the eclectic vibe. Her album was like a "soundtrack" of sorts for my London trip.

But I definitely agree that Jorja is largely image. She (Jorja) was absolutely overshadowed by Kali on "Tyrant"

Summer has potential as well, but for some reason I feel she's like a female Bryson Tiller when it comes to beat selection. I will admit, I am a tad bit biased to that neo-soul sound that encompasses less synthetic instrumentation. Also, while raw, I do think Summer's range is a tad limite.

Rayvn Lenae is the best out of her class in musical sense in my opinion. She has great variety in her work and has an "ear" for music. Apparently she grew up in the choir so she has a solid music base if you will.
