Idk breh, I did everything in origins put in like 150 hours. I waited a few months but I felt nothing when I turned Odyssey on lol

Funny for me it's the opposite, I finished Origins but have yet to finish the DLCs. I have over 80hrs+ on Odyssey :manny:

is this game longer than Red Dead?

It's around the same length, might be a bit longer tho

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
I didn’t even finish this shyt. Seemed repetitive and story boring like the last one. Gameplay and shyt to do is great. Don’t get me wrong

But can we get back to the assassins order vs the Templar’s? In the past I mean. I want my squad back. I want the meetings and the plans for destroying them. I want the Templar’s running shyt and hiding historical documents and artifacts.

the last two games promised to open up the story on the origins. But no. Besides 10 cutscenes over two long ass games, I haven’t seen shyt about the true origin, the why, the how, the first this and the first that.

Hell, I got more information from the first trilogy on how things started than the two “prequels”

The templars bored the fukk out of me after AC3... There aren't too many enemy organizations in gaming that are deep enough for damn near a decade of us vs them. Only so much you can do with that. And they weren't that good to start with.

First of all the Hidden Ones DLC is crucial to the assassins story. Secondly the curse of the pharaohs is flames you need to play that

I like Greek Mythology but there's something a bit off on this

That would make sense if they weren’t fukking fighting the Templar’s in the “current” time of these games. We forget they are all in computer simulations of the past. None of this is happening in real time. So in 20whatever, the assassins are STILL fighting them. So why would that last from ancient Italy till now, but didn’t start as that way?

ok maybe it changed over the times, then explain that. You writing this long ass game with 50 islands and 200 hours and you can’t make that shyt connect and be the focal STORY point?

the assassins creed current story is still the same timeline and world as the very first one. They all connect. But at some point (origins), they said fukk the past, and just (feels like) wrote a random ass story about the time period. Then after the fact sprinkled some symbols and names.

Maybe that's an unfair opinion from me. While I've played a lot of the games, I never finished them because they just became exhausting and the hopping back the future shyt was always exactly NOT why I spent dozens of hours playing. I've always felt that the 'main' story of these games was by far the worst part about them and that they took away from the historic (and now mythological) aspects.

I agree with that. The future parts were the worst part of the game. But it went to establishing that this is one over arcing story. They use those times to say Templars versus assassins is the reason we need to go in the past. And then they go in the past and don’t fight any Templars and now they aren’t assassins.

They did just announce a new assassin‘s creed. It’s going to take place with the Viking.. And they have said that the future parts will be fully playable. not like before, but full on fights and storylines and all that. So I hope it gets wrapped up.

my main point is, we been playing these games since AC1. We don’t even get the robes and team no more. But we are actually being told these are the origins of that. It’s just bad storytelling.

Level 35 right now. Just saw Athens go to shyt.

Never thought I'd actually miss set pieces in a game.

Still pretty fun though. The game is basically single player Destiny.

I beat the main story. Then I found out Atlantis and the cult were considered side stories. I thought those would be resolved in the main story. So I finished those. Now apparently I need to download DLC to really really beat the game? Something about meeting up with Poseidon? I’ll pass. This game is too long and although it was entertaining it’s just being dragged out at the point. Good game, I just don’t care enough. I’m not really into this franchise and I only bought this game because it was on sale for $12 during the PSN spring sale.
