People say Odyssey was a step back from Origins. I'd say that is bullshyt. Valhalla was DEFINITELY a step back from Odyssey though.

From story and characters it was a step back but it improved on many aspects especially when it got upgraded and Origins didn’t. Still like Origins slightly better but things may change when I’m completely done with Odyssey, friend.

Light hearted action adventure is my jam.

Theres in game battles where you can fight as mercenary for different factions to give them control Athenians/Spartans. But yeah not exactly like the open

I went from liking Valhalla a lot early on to really not fukking with it at all by mid game. The progression/upgrade stuff is probably the worst out of the entire series and honestly the setting just wears itself out too.

Got it free through a promo while building my PC two years ago. Could never play it since my GPU too weak and I still can't buy the new RTX cards. Refused to buy on consoles because I didn't want to waste the money. Guess I ain't missing much

Still my favorite Assassins Creed game, followed by Origins and then Black Flag, I got Valhalla and have yet to play it past 20 minutes.

Just restarted the game again and I finally will get to completing the DLC's.
