But yeah.... :ninja1:

I want Carl to hit it before they go killing off beth, let dude get a hand job or something, I mean we don't have to see it, just allude to the fact that the god scored :win:

If they are not going to bring in Tyresse, the least they can do is give T-Dog that role, I know it would be some 'out of no where' type sh*t if he transformed into a leader over night.....but even then..........how do they not have tyresse?? I want to see his daughter and boyfriend kill themselves, just so he can kill dude TWICE....I want to see him survive the gymnasium with just a hammer...I want to see his head get cut off by the govenor

Now as far as Book Spoiler's, anyone read "Rise of the Governor?" Cause...
That shyt had some crazy twist, about who the governor really is, and makes the comics that much more crazy insane

tyrese isn't going to be on the show. part of the main reason he was on the show was to establish you can turn w/o being bit. tyrese in the gym though :whew: i gotta feeling they're going to give that role to daryl

MTV article from march

Michonne has arrived. The Governor isn't far behind. With those two players on the way, which other fan-favorite "Walking Dead" comic book characters might make their debut next season? According to Glen Mazzara, the answer could well be… Tyrese!
The "Walking Dead" showrunner participated in a conference call with press (via MovieWeb) and answered questions about the upcoming third and fourth seasons of the AMC zombie series. During the call, he confirmed that Tyrese is a character that's still very much on his radar, along with a few other familiar faces.
"I think the Tyrese character is someone we are interested in introducing at some point," said Mazzara. "We still have Morgan and Dwayne, who are out there from the pilot. We are interested in them. There are new characters that will be original to the series. Not coming straight from the comic book."
Mazzara also spoke about the show's hotly awaited move to the prison, which plays host to the "Walking Dead" story's most iconic events. In the showrunner's eyes, the prison will last all throughout season three, perhaps even beyond.
"Right now, I do see the prison storyline lasting through both season three and four," he said. "I do think that is a major storyline. I know we were on the farm, perhaps, longer than people wanted. There were reasons for that. What we want is for that prison to not feel claustrophobic. I think the farm played a little claustrophobic for some people. Now that the entire landscape has fallen victim to the zombie apocalypse, zombies are literally at the gates of this prison. That prison is a very small safe corner. There is a lot of danger around. It won't feel like we are bottled up, the way we were on the farm."
One way Mazzara plans on breaking the bottled up feeling: by introducing us to the Governor's camp.
"I do think that prison is a significant storyline, but we are also interested in opening up this world. The Governor has the world of Woodbury. There are other factors out there, other groups. I do think that Rick's group is stumbling into a much larger world."

For those interested, i got the comic series, issues 1-97 in the profile.

been sleeping on this series and only just checked it out this past thursday with ep 1, season 1... but 3 days of internet streaming fukkery later and i'm fully caught up with the television series. shyt is crack rocks. :ahh: I've only skimmed through a few early issues of the comic so far but it was pretty easy to pick up on the discrepancies it has from the show, particularly the absence of tyrese, the extent of shane's involvement with the group, and dale and andrea :scusthov:

i might just chill on the comics for now tho, id rather just stay genuinely surprised by what happens ep to ep rather than tuning in already knowing the deal and getting caught up in how accurate the portrayal is.

but shiiit, now i gotta see whats up with these episodic video games for DL that m'fukkas been talking about :eat:

Walking Dead comics>>>>>>>>>Walking Dead TV show

I had really high hopes for the TV show. I expected SOME changes, but some of the changes they've made have been fukking horrible.

Glenn is the only character that's remotely close to how he was in the comics.

I'm loving the show cause I never bothered reading the comics.

I come into each episode with no expectations or assumptions and eat good every week :youngsabo:

on some :dwillhuh: + :ohhh: + shyt

u nikkas go into each episode on some "umph, errrrr.... its not like the comics....worst episode ever" Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons type shyt :stopitslime:

If u started reading the comics before the show started then its not ur fault and u can't unlearn what u already know, but if started reading them after the show started then ur just a dumbass and probably ruined it for yourself. If it strays from the comic then ur disappointed and complain yet if it stays 100% true to the comics you'll still complain also (because u get absolutely nothing new out of it)

:manny:

I'll probably check out the comics once the entire series is done forever tho (which will probably be the 5th or 6th season....thats usually the lifespan of these type dramas)

It's not that at all.

There were changes made in the first episode that a lot of fans of the liked (They added a LOT more to Morgan's first appearance). A lot of the fans of the comic also dug what the extended role they gave Shane.

It's not people hating change, it's people hating BAD changes. It's not because "it's not like the comic book" so much as the comic book is just flat out better in terms of characterization and character development.

Hell on of the things people who haven't read the comics complain about most is the character "T-dog" that motherfukker doesn't even exist in the comics. In the comic they have a far more competent, likeable, and memorable black character named Tyresse.
