first, because it's television and they want to be dramatic

second, weren't the first several zombies we see in s01e01 torn apart from the torso i understand what you're trying to convey but most people were probably only attacked once when the outbreak started, and zombies don't eat other zombies.

not only that, if everybody is infected...people who died from natural causes, were murdered( by other humans )..etc.etc came back as zombies.

Good episode overall definitely one of the more well rounded ones not too much boring not too much gore

only thing like other mentioned that them being able to get head shots from handguns in them towers, one or two of them fine rick and the hillbilly but lil man gettin them shots from there too

But there was a lot of gore. Rick taking off the riot head gear off that zombie guard and all that rotted skin ripped off , Hershel losing a chunk of his leg, Hershel getting his leg chopped off, all the zombie killings (i.e. decapitations) that took place to secure the area and some parts of the prison.

It was warranted and I enjoyed the whole thing tho.

Decent ep, I was pleased. I hope they don't kill off the black guy eventually, but having two black actors with one being male and the other one being female who is top tier from the jump does not sit will with hollywood. Staying in that jail screams bad idea. why even go there? such a bad idea. When they was killing the guard zombies it was trill.

I have a question, when if you die you turn into a zombie does that effect widlife too like fish and birds? what about insects feeding on dead zombie caucus?
