Umm as someone who old af who went to see this opening night on a whim and remembers the impact afterwards, this looks horrible

Dude, I saw the original opening night when it first dropped and then ten more times in the theatre that year. Trust, you are in the minority of us old heads who love the original Matrix. Matter of fact, I just went to an IMAX reshowing of the original last week and when the trailer for this new one came on, the audience cheered.

Lol, Warner Bros must believe in this movie that it'll do good against that because in my eyes that leading a lamb to the slaughter knowing Spiderman I'd going to be the talk of the town and Matrix comes out 5 days after "No Way Home".

I haven't read any spoilers but I think it would be dope if he never escaped in the first place. The whole 1st three movies all took place in the Matrix, this is him waking up for the first time.

Finished day 1 of the Marathon. Yes "Matrix" is still Classic 22 years later. The effects still hold up, the shots are still ill and the action has been copied and bitten by Blockbusters every since it dropped. Laurence just bodied everything in this movie. Same with Hugo weaving. It was just a really good cast. One thing that I always felt and even stood out watching today was that Marcus Chong who played "Tank" was very underrated for his performance. He did a great job in this movie. Same with Joe Pantilano. "Matrix: Revisited" was also dope. Keanu had a neck injury during filming and Carrie hurt her ankle during the famous lobby scene. It was cool seeing them train all the fight scenes. Also everything that went into the effects and bullet time. The effects changed the game. There were stunt doubles but Keanu, Carrie and Laurence all did the fighting. Everyone thought they were crazy for making the film. The making of the film was insane and gives you insight on how this timeless classic was made.
