Who’s composing the music for this? Don Davis’ score was iconic and played such a key role for the original films that I’m kinda nervous for whoever it is taking over. :lupe:

Anything think they need to push this movie back because of Spider-Man??

Lol, Warner Bros must believe in this movie that it'll do good against that because in my eyes that leading a lamb to the slaughter knowing Spiderman I'd going to be the talk of the town and Matrix comes out 5 days after "No Way Home".

Listen there is no doubt Spidey going to kill it at the box office but Matrix has nothing to worry about. Matrix is a 3 Billion Dollar Franchise in it's own right. Spidey is a PG13 Comicbook and Disney Movie so it can bring in a larger audience than R-Rated film can. Matrix is a R-Rated Sci-Fi Franchise. They aren't even going for the same audience really though there's some crossover. Kids can't get into the Matrix without Parents (Though some Teens did sneak into Matrix Reloaded back on 03, lol which Broke the R-Rated OW Record). Spidey is Theatrical only and Matrix is Hybrid release.

Therefor Matrix is drawing from Theater audience and the Streaming Audience at the exact same time. If tickets are sold out or you can't go to the Theater you miss out on Spidey. Matrix will lock in both audiences. I'm willing to say Matrix will break HBO Max's record with streams plus still do well at the Box Office with it opening on a Holiday. It's also releasing internationally on the Big Screen. Two Blockbusters can co-exist. Jumanji 2 and 3 made money against "The Last Jedi" and "Rise of Skywalker". Plus Matrix is drops Christmas Weekend, Spidey the week before. Demand is always burned out opening weekend. I expect both movies to cake and dominate Christmas and New Years. Speaking of Star Wars, it seems there will be a brand new Matrix Game coming out called "Matrix: Awakens". They didn't say a release date but probably closer to the movie release.
