I mean he does look straight up like John Wick in the Matrix but I assumed it was because filming was so close and he has to look like that as John Wick that either way one character might have impacted the other in terms of look. I'm more concerned about how they bringing back two known dead characters.

I think it was scheduling but the Pandemic pushed a lot of different films back including both Wick 4 and Matrix 4 but I'm sure they wrote it in the plot why Neo looks older. As for the John Wick is really Neo theory. I used to laugh at that joke but if they did want to tie it. Basically like you said, Wick is Neo. But it's Neo while he was training in the simulation with Morpheus in part 1. Basically each Wick Chapter is Neo learning new martial arts and weapons training. Morpheus aka the Bowery King is even in the Simulation, lol. Look we love the Wick Franchise but Neo is the OG.

If you pause it, at 1:15, you see Keanu and some other guy in the mirror. I guess they the pills got Keanu thinking he's someone else.
