I don't think any show has ever done this, but I think a good compromise between binge watching and spreading the show out would have been to keep releasing episodes every Tuesday and Friday.

I think this Doctor/Scientist dude is going to have something to do with extracting DNA to clone lil' baby Yoda for the Empire/Imperial Remnant.
Also, I like how they're displaying electronics & circuitry under the plates of The Mandalorian's armor, showing how Mandalorian armor & it's onboard weapon's systems are sophisticated tech.

Y'all complaining about the ship not having a security system seem to forget that he got jerked on his pay and good bounties aren't readily available. He was practically begging for work. The fact that he had to settle for chump change and didn't resort to violence to get what he was owed shows he probably didn't have the resources for shields and security systems. He's a bounty hunter so his money probably gets spent on weapons and things like armor that'll keep him alive.
The thing we've seen in these two episodes is that being a bounty Hunter isn't glamorous. He's had to deal with mercenaries, harsh environments, wild animals, hostile bounty hunters, thieves, etc. They're showing the struggles of that life.
If you guys were bounty hunters you'd have the ships with shields, security systems, leather seats, etc
You'd also probably die your first mission because you didn't buy armor that protects you from blasters

True, I did notice that timing. Plus, it's in their interest to spread this out over as many months as possible. My plan has always been to drop my subscription as soon as the Manadalorian ends. If the episodes were longer, or if they aired two per week, the whole show might fit in under one single monthly payment

Now if 9 months from now it’s still like this then yea, something has to give. But I think coming out they gate they’re fine, they just need time like every other streaming service.

Just thought about something. Those ion blasters used by those jawas would be the PERFECT weapon to use against someone wearing armor. Just like how an ion cannon can immobilize a ship by disrupting or disabling it's electronic systems. A jawa's ion blaster could cripple a person's armored suit by disrupting/disabling it's electronics, making it inoperable (while simultaneously stunning the wearer). So with enough ion blasters, you could probably incapacitate a Mandalorian or a Stormtrooper. Hell, if you got the drop on him real quick, maybe even Darth Vader.
