In case we forget, the mcu did not start the super duper killing it at the box office until the first Avengers movie. We are back at the beginning if a whole new set of circumstances. Given huge early this is,I'm already more in than fir fukkin Iron Man 1 or the first Thor. Shyt was mid outside if Cap stuff.

I took the post as asking if this movie was enough to keep up with what other marvel movies had been doing. I was contending that the early MCU movies were not the blockbusters we got post avengers as the story was coming together.

All the eternals can do that in the comic books. Ikaris just uses that ability the most.

He is romantically involved with Sersei in the comics. But you are right, his origin haa nothing to do with Eternals, Celestials, etc.

I think I know the broad strokes of this story (based on some comic reading) and it's going to be mind blowing. Don't sleep, Marvel about to innovate again.

this is a very dumb take admittedly, but there doesn't seem to be a.... "cool" member of that group. Big Asian Dude will probably be "cool," but no one else really seems like a "cool" character.
