Dope.
I enjoyed the first one.
I've rewatched all the other MCU phase 4 movies and this one gets better the more you watch it.
What was the criticism?if they take the criticism and course correct, it could be an incredible movie... will they though? probably not. Feige thought this shyt was art.
that's not a real tweet btw, but all signs point to them making a sequel at some point
Really was a good film in it's own little sphere. Who was your favorite Eternal?
Lowest rated MCU movie. Boring as fukk with pretty meh characters, dull leads, and undercooked "bad guys."What was the criticism?
I liked it, but I read the original comic run.Lowest rated MCU movie. Boring as fukk with pretty meh characters, dull leads, and undercooked "bad guys."
I don’t get the Makkari speed praise. Fox’s Quicksilver >>>Everyone's said this but the way they depicted Makkari's superspeed was the best I've seen in a live action.
Druig's character resonated with me to be honest. Dude was a villain in the comics but in the movie you understood why he wanted to do what he did. And the actor played him well.
I loved how they used Pink Floyd’s “Time” as the opener. Absolutely love that song. Great choice.
I liked it, but I read the original comic run.
I can see the issue with the characters since they weren’t fleshed out, but there’s like a dozen of them, so there’s that. At least one of them coulda stood out tho. Personality wise they were mediocre. And the villains were weak too.
Thor 2 is the WOAT MCU film tho.
With an ability & lifespan like his, I think a lot of people would have taken his route and few of them with the good intentions Druig had. The very nature of his powers put him at a moral disadvantage, let's be real, that's a villain's dream power. Very interesting character.
Makkari was well done all around with her speed based abilities, definitely a high point. I've mentioned Druig's characterization in a prior review but I definitely agree.Everyone's said this but the way they depicted Makkari's superspeed was the best I've seen in a live action.

This is more of a sci-fi film than the GOTG movies. I actually want to rewatch this film more than 85-90% of all the other Marvel films (every one). The fact that it was more of a existential sci fi flick based on gnosticism than your standard 'super hero movie' is what makes it a hell of lot more interesting to re-watch than Shang Chi/No way home by a mile.
They did a great job with Makkari in the fight scene vs Ikaris, probably one of the best parts of the movie imo.I don’t get the Makkari speed praise. Fox’s Quicksilver >>>

I have yet to see Thor 4, but I’m hoping Zeus is actually connected to the Eternals. In the comic books he’s known as Zuras. (Please don’t hint or spoil any of Thor 4, people.)
Mikkari and Druid had potential and she had the best action scene in the movie. Kingo was ok. Gilgamesh did his thing while simping for overrated Thena. Ikarus and Sersi were blocks of fukkin wood. Phastos should be in Armor Wars or something since he's the tech guy. Sprite was a perfect plot device to tell the tale of each Eternal, but they didn't have time. it's a mess.I liked it, but I read the original comic run.
