this show takes a watery diarrhea on the Marvel shows. No one will even remember those existed in like 3 years.

shyt, i enjoyed Umbrella Academy more than most of the Marvel show seasons I watched, and i didn't even love UA. The Marvel shows were a goddamn slog. I liked DD season 1 and 3, Punisher and the first seasons of Cage and Jones, but in the end they were all too long, and unmemorable. I couldn't even bother finishing the other seasons of each show. Defenders was such a massive fail also.

seriously tho I always felt they did too much by pushing for 13 eps...I think 10 episode seasons would’ve been perfect...those 3 extra eps made a big difference...all the marvel shows seemed to hit a lull in the middle of the season usually somewhere between episodes 7-11

I wish ‘the boys’ was 10 eps...but keeping it to 8 was for the best imo...not a single scene felt “wasted”

Iron Fist was so lame, the brother and sister corporate characters were the only interesting part of the show.

Daredevil season 2 fukkin sucked balls outside of the Punisher showing up. And yea, 13 episodes made all of those seasons absolute slogs.

Just curious, are we comparing it to only the Marvel shows?

Are shows like Umbrella Academy, Preacher, Legion and the all CWDC shows not included.... in a way where it’s assumed that the Marvel shows are far better than all of them and only The Boys is the best thing to compare it to?

Just finished it and wow, was not expecting it to end the way it did.

But now it’s like how to they come from kinda this corner they painted themselves in for season 2.

Cuz it seems like certain stuff for certain characters, there’s no coming back from

the boys is good, but theres certain liberties that i dont care for. mothers milks backstory is one. its so fukked and really shows how heartless vought is. theres also butcher being a regular human. hes scary now, but hes an imposing monster in the comics. like if youre a cape dont walk near his ass. at the same time, theres a few things i hope that rogen nd goldberg have the common sense not to put on tv

That ending was made for the show, it never happens in the comics for various reasons.
