Not a single DCEU film has broken a billy (domestic + international), there's no reason to think that *this* will be the one to do it.

Deadpool made almost as much as Wonder Woman, the highest grossing DC film, did and it was rated R...

SN: The R rated version of BvS was the only DC movie I really enjoyed like that.

Go watch the animated movies if u want an R rated Batman movie. There’s plenty. And they are GREAT. This isn’t Logan or Deadpool. Batman has been great at pg13 for many films. Including the Dark Knight. Never in my life have I heard someone judge a film before seeing it off it’s rating. What a ridiculous and silly reason

Die hard 4 was pg13 and people were but thats die hard. Only reason why people may have thought it was because snyder cut was R? I dont know. You can get away with alot in a pg13 film these days…its not the 80’s

Right now the movie-going market is mostly young people and you need to appease that market.

Not sure why you brought up Spider-Man making a billion then, as if this movie could/would do the same; it won't, regardless of the rating.


SM made that much because Marvel makes better movies that do more at the box office. TBM won't because the DC films aren't as good, even if they have better characters to work with. It is what it is.

This back and forth won't change anything so I'll let y'all boys enjoy in theaters.

Batman makes MEGA money from teenagers. you want to alienate that market especially after spider-man made 1 billion mostly from teenagers
there's nothing this movie needs from an R Rating

Not teenagers but little kids (5-11 year olds). Kids (via their parents) generate the most money for Marvel & DC.

At the end of the day, Marvel & DC make most of their money from superhero merchandise and memorabilia - even from these big budget films. Batman is 2nd most profitable superhero right now (after Spider-Man) in terms of merchandise sales. DC is probably never making an R-rated live-action Batman film.
