The Batman: Zoë Kravitz Gets Catwoman Costume Fit, Starts Filming Soon

The Batman actor Zoë Kravitz has already been fitted for her Catwoman costume and will begin filming her scenes very soon. Kravitz is far from a stranger to genre movies like The Batman, having previously played one of the Brides (Toast the Knowing) in Mad Max Fury Road. She's equally well-versed in the art of the live-action superhero movie, following her performance as Angel Salvadore in 2011's X-Men: First Class. Amusingly, this isn't even her first time playing Catwoman, having previously voiced the character (albeit, very briefly) in 2017's animated The LEGO Batman Movie.

Although production on The Batman is already underway, Kravitz has yet to join the shoot, having been preoccupied with attending the Golden Globes for Big Little Lies season 2 and promoting her upcoming Hulu series High Fidelity (ahead of its premiere in mid-February). However, that's about to change, now that her schedule has cleared up. Perhaps even more excitingly, it might not be too long before fans get their first glimpse (via leaked set photos) of Kravitz in her Catwoman outfit.
