felt pretty tame overall for a penultimate episode

Yeah, Martha's face was one of pure horror . Philthy Phil looking like a serial killer in that moment. I'm not sure if he decided to take it off because he was about to kill her and didn't want Clark to do it or as an attempt to get her to trust him and not run off to her parents . I'm thinking it was the ladder. Phil does care for her on some level.

Paige already on thin ice. Strike one was trying to have a sleepover with Pastor Tim and then talking about I left a note .

Strike two was when she told Phil that Henry was scared a bear might eat him on the camping trip and made Paige promise not to tell. Phil gave her the afterwards.

I just know Lisa's husband better not be changing the oil on his car while Liz is in the vicinity.

Was it just me, but I noticed pretty much every scene would end with a character not saying anything verbally but have some kind of expression on their face. I'm sure The Americans has done it before, just noticed it more in this episode for some reason.

paige basically told them their secret was safe with her with the henry/bear story. Phil taking his wig was a moment....son is trippin....those feelings he got for martha gon get him in serious trouble...

I think I've said this before but the timing of every Liz and Phil's difficult "talk" is it's either before they fukk, after they fukk, before a big assignment or after one.
This ep was right before they spoke with Osama. Phil on some "if you don't take Paige to Russia I will " and then going on a crucial mission

All the early year shows are coming to an end. If it wasn't for HBO we'd be going into a drought until the summer/fall
