If they lie to her, the likelihood of Paige snitching on them when she finds out the truth (And she would eventually; Paige is a smart girl) becomes even greater. They handled it as best they could, and as a result Paige took it pretty well.

Not only that, but they've been lying to her since day one. They lie to her every day and this is where its lead them. She doesn't believe their lies and she most likely wouldn't believe the one they would come up with on the spot. Plus the maturity she's shown these last two seasons shows she might be ready for the truth.

I had a professor in real life who found out his Dad was a CIA spy after he died. shyt fukked him up. I can only imagine what Paige would be feeling. Your whole world has just been turned upside down. It'll be an interesting last few episodes.
