Pangos is the only euro guy I could see having a shot now, and that's only because no Murray and maybe no SGA. He might be the best point guard in Europe right now

If SGA isn't there for qualifiers though I think he 100% plays in the Olympics if we make it

Seasons offically over. Probably have a clearer idea who'll suit up for the Olympic qualifier. I read Shai said he's playing if healthy but i highly doubt it . Gonna assume anyone in the playoffs wont play. I think Olynyk is a free agent and the tournament starts before free agency so i doubt he plays. I think we might get something like this, guard/wings - Cory, NAW, Dort, Brooks, Pangos, Stauskas and maybe someone like tyler ennis or phil scrubb? Bigs - Birch, Boucher, Lyles, Clarke and maybe Simi, Mifondu or probably a euro guy like Wiltjer, Ejim or Pierre. I think if the pacers go out early Brissett would play. Same for Rj and the knicks or Mulder and GS. If we make the olympics i bet shai and Wiggins play

They shouldn't be caring about people's feelings, they should run the best lineups out there with the best players. Who gives a fukk about seniority? Hopefully Nurse has more sense than that.

I think Tyler Ennis tore his ACL again before Euroleague started last year, so he's probably out.

I completely forgot about RJ, yeah I'd take RJ too. I guess in international competition, you could take Brissett over Lyles and have him play the 4. I still like Stauskas and think he's a decent secondary playmaker and shooter at the international level, but Mulder is probably a better defender even though he's much smaller.

I don't really mind if Thompson's not on the team, he hasn't played well this year.

Khems played really well for team Canada and Nurse gave him more freedom offensively than he ever had before, and he seems like he's extended his range since then so I'd be comfortable starting him.

I think they could get away with alot of smaller lineups with any of Barrett, Brooks, Wiggins or Brissett playing the 4 too.

This team could potentially be so good defensively and have the ability to switch everywhere and be fine

13 NBA guys on the list. Gonna suck to be that one guy who gets cut. Maybe one of the guys still in the playoffs makes a run and has to pull out though. Surprised to see Dwight Powell there with all the injuries he's had

I think FIBA rosters only let you take 12 so someone's feelings are gonna get hurt.

The only spot I could see open for someone to steal is a 3rd string PG. Bell Haynes is the only PG I see and he tore up Germany this year but still too big of a jump imo

We have all our bigs except for Boucher so if Ejim or Doornekamp make it I'll drive to the Canada Basketball office and throw rocks

This is what I'd take. I'd say perimeter guys are kinda set at

Guards/Wings - CoJo, Dort, Brooks, Wiggins, NAW, Brissett, and RJ

Cant see who Mulder could beat out on that list. Think he's the NBA guy getting cut on that list

Bigs - Olynyk, Birch, Powell and TT I would think have to be locks. Maybe Lyles and Clarke battling for the last spot

I like Clarke and Lyles a little more for FIBA than TT at this point but I have a hard time seeing Tristan not make it. Maybe Powell shouldn't be considered a lock though I dunno
