I know how this forum is so I'm not getting into debates with deluded Nolan stans on quality. I'm not a fan of his shyt at all.
But Bond, Marvel, DC and Pixar have all pushed their films significantly back. These will all make as much money if not much more than TENET.
Bond did not delay to 2021. At least not yet.
I also don't know what Marvel or DC films pushed back to next year. If you're going to say some shyt like that back it up don't just give brand names. List some fukking titles.
Bond was pushed back at least 6 months. Why can't Nolan do the same?
Wonder Woman, Black Widow and Soul were also pushed back.
It doesn't even have to be 2021. If they had been proactive they could've had a spot free Oct-Dec but Nolan got too caught up in wanting his film to be the big event to reopen cinemas. Plenty of reports indicated that the studio wanted to push the film back to late 2020/2021 but were just doing this to appease Nolan.
Something has to be first, and I would rather it be this than that straight to DVD Russell Crowe movie or some cheap Selena Gomez produced rom com

No Time To Die is still set to release on November 20, 2020
Black Widow is still set to release on November 6, 2020
Mulan is still set to release on August 24, 2020
Soul is still set to release on November 20, 2020
Candyman is still set to release on October 16, 2020
I'm expecting all of those to be pushed back to 2021 but as of right this morning they still have those 2020 release dates.
Apart from Mulan they're all Q4.
Why can't Nolan swallow his pride let this move back to at least later in the year?
The desperation to be the first film back in theatres is pathetic and shows a complete disregard for people's health and safety.
I don't get the decision to release it when we are still in the first wave of a pandemic either.
But I will be in the safety of my car at the Delsea Drive-In on opening weekend if they stick to this schedule.
