The rebels, aided by the UK, staged a self-inflicted chemical attack on civilians in Ghouta ( which there is no evidence for), in order to set the stage for limited strikes on four military targets.

I condensed the totally believable Russian/Regime storyline into one sentence

:mjlol:

And a lot of dumb liberals are falling for this idiotic storyline.

One by one the excuses for ever supporting Trump are stripped away. Awhile back he lost the Ann Coulters of the world, now Infowars turns on him.

Make no mistake, most of THEM also supported him to support white supremacy, but at some point (likely their own safety and future) they decided something was finally above white supremacy on the importance chart and they folded.

At this point the only people left still behind Dotard are individuals who have decided that white supremacy is the ONLY thing that ultimately matters. Thats why there is no line he can cross, they're going down with him.
Conservatives are in save the party mode right now...

They're turning away from Cheeto slowly because they see the writing on the wall...

They don't care about the country but they sure as fukk care about their party and its not a good look for the party to keep defending a guilty man hoping it all goes away...At this point its obvious Cheeto's campaign colluded with the Russians and committed campaign fraud...Cheeto himself at the very least is guilty as fukk of obstruction...So conservatives have to distance themselves from him before Mueller drops his report without pissing off his legion of mislead morons...The wave starts with the "grass roots" of inbred white stupidity which is Anne Coulter, Limbaugh, Alex Jones and then it will make its way to FOX news...

So despite all that talk and the eventual missles strike...we’re pretty much in the same damn position as before:

-Assad continues to gain territory.

-Rebels are losing ground.

-Russia, Iran, and Hezbollah continue to support Assad.

-Kurds are stuck via Turkey’s military campaign. Might even end up making a deal with Assad if he continues to gain ground.

-Turkey still has a presence in Syria.

-U.S. seems confused/unsure on what to do next.

-No political solution in sight.

In addition to be very deadly, this war might honestly be the most frustrating war to date. This shyt simply won’t end. Seven years, hundreds of thousands of dead Syrians, millions of refugees, and this war just won’t freaking end.

I’ll ask again what I asked before: what options are left?

This war needs to end and needs to end soon. Too many people have died over this. Many more lives changed forever. And this shyt going seven damn years. :francis:

Y’all would let Russia slap you and then say “yeah we deserved it”

fukk that.

Bounce back status. America is rolling on em. Straight up.

Nah.... fukk that. The time to strike would have been when Trump sent those tweets telegraphing what was coming.

This acccomplishes nothing strategically. Those targets probably cleared out by now.

Makes Trump look tough but does not to affect the situation in Syria or phase Russia.

Don’t be blindly hawkish.

And all the mainstream media, left and right don’t ask any questions.

Like, why would Assad use chemical weapons after Trump announced publicly(whether he was serious or not), plans to leave Syria and cut off military aid.

Makes no fukking sense to me.
What kills me is questioning this highly questionable shyt is dismissed as a conspiracy theory when they can't even prove Assad used these weapons...

The idea that Al Nusra backed and supported rebels on their last leg wouldn't do something like gas people as a hail mary last attempt to lure in foreign intervention to save their war is not a wild conspiracy...It's a perfectly logical thought when you consider who the actors are and where the war is right now...

Nobody is against a justified strike based on FACTS...Your justification for bombing a country can't be we did some blood tests...There can't be any questions regarding who used them, you have to have proof...It's Assad he must of done it or in the case of neo-cons, it doesn't matter who done isn't justification for bombing a country...

Anyways it sounds like this shyt was a work to distract the news cycle as suspected all week...They only hit "suspected chem agent R&D facilities" and of course they were completely evacuated because they gave the Russians advanced warning who notified the Syrians (according to the Syrian government)...

I support ANY strikes in Syria in response to the chemical weapon usage.

PERIOD.

Deal with whatever moral conflict you're having. You're not changing my mind.

And yes, Trump fukked the gameplan up. Even if strategically less effective.

They know what they're doing...

Cheeto and crew don't care about Syria, they only cared about ISIS which was 90% destroyed before Cheeto was sworn in...

We been saying it in the other thread all week, they're going to bomb asphalt again in an attempt to overshadow Cohen and Comey...

Perhaps so. Could be that simple.

From my POV, what the U.S. is doing on the ground is confusing to me, if only due to the low probability of their “known” plan working (boost the Kurds via the SDF and use the SDF forces and Syrian oil in Eastern Syria as leverage, knowing that Turkey would have a major problem with a big Kurdish Force by their border).

At this point, I just want the war to end. shyt has gone for too long.

Edit: just saw your edited post. Yes, Trump only cared about ISIS, no question. It’s everything else that confused me. Big question a lot of people had was what happens after ISIS is taken care of? Whatever the US had in mind, it looks quite in disarray at the moment.
