The bleach didn't kill them it just stung them in the same way holy water strings demons. Nothing they used actually killed them. Decapitatig them left them vunurable for hours but left alone the head would reattach itself. They started locking their heads up away from the bodies so they wouldn't heal but they were still technically alive.

It eroded them. They would have most likely recovered, but it was more effective than holy water was to demons.

Maybe those Princes/Princess of hell?Something not revelaed yet?Maybe Abbadon was immune too

Defiantly not the princes since that's the class that the original yellow eyed demon was and the colt is what killed him. I doubt Abbadon was immune if they are saying the knights of Hell were a level below the princes.

Edit:Cain may have been immune due to the mark.

Can they not detect the presence of a hellhound by now? Especially since Dean was killed by one and Sam killed one with the trials I would think they can sense one when close
