Man is the face of incorrectly and inappropriately installing an extremely unpopular candidate, just found out he got a wife he can't stand pregnant, and the one person who he felt respected him and would look out for him to an extent, died on a plane. He's going through, can't remember if we ever saw him express grief for Logan, I think he just comforted Shiv. But he broke down talking about being the first one to see Logan right before he was about to pass and being able to say his goodbye.
