Do y’all think that Roman backing out at the last second in a way made Kendall dial it down a little and actually zero in on what he needed to say to make the presentation a success? I ask cuz I think if Rome was there Kendall might’ve been too confident and leaned on the goofy shyt like he’s done before.

If Roman was there Kendall would have had to follow the script that was written for their presentation together.
By doing it himself unscripted he began to moderate his message and frame it as him moving past his dad

Its kinda insane it worked but this was always just a clout exercise imo. Kendall gets to have some moments but the whole thing is propped up on lies and will get exposed and be a failure or not live up to his promises

True. A clout exercise hoping that they can use it to justify raising the price of their company so high the Norweigan guy will back off but I don’t think that’ll happen. My guess is Shiv will eventually leak that harassment claim she knows about with dude and his communications manager and blow up the deal. Still up in the air on which sibling will come out on top. Roman is both too indecisive and impulsive at the same time. Shiv is an emotional train wreck and Kendall is a goof.

Yea I think the talk from Roman and Karl made Ken reel things in. He didn’t mention any specific numbers and he stuck to the generic corporate buzzwords. He also didn’t make any crazy promises but instead leaned into what Living+ “could” be.

I remember reading that Ken only thrives when his back is against the wall and tonight showed that again which I find really interesting. When he’s in control, he’s destined to mess it up and get in over his head. But when nobody believes in him he can pull out a W.

I’ll read thru some of the newer comments but I’m still thinking about what happened yesterday and the possible ramifications of it…so I thought kendall’s presentation was bombing but the market loved it and it drove prices up…so does that put waystar back in a position to buy gojo instead of having to sell to them (under the swede) or does waystar not need gojo at all and the company can now move on with ken at the helm with his ideas…also do shiv and rome finally concede or do they now look to sabotage ken and if so how?
