I think she knew they were trying to tank it and told him the number to offer so that the board couldn't say no. She wants out completely the boys want ATN. The one liners are some of the best I’ve heard currently on television. Connors timing and comedic presence on screen is always perfect lol
Tom…. Oh Tom… smh he’s written perfectly so you can empathize with him but not dislike him more than the other characters because no one is like able

Roman might be the only thing about the show I don’t like. The overtop rich spoiled fukk up smuck attitude Macauley Culkin brother does is overtop the top ALL THE TIME.

The writers wrote a perfect FU moment with season 2 finale.

Logan had all of his kids looking like clowns in the public eye and them being inherently attached to his tit and eternally dependent means that folks are just now arriving at a place of kinda taking them seriously.

Folks want them to either sell and disappear with their $ or try to fly the ship and ultimately crash it — if the board doesn’t make them disappear first.

Mattson got his out the mud, I guess, so he won’t respect anyone who didn’t get theirs in a similar fashion. If the respect was there dude would wait to push for the sale but knows them being emotional over Logan and being the Three Stooges was a formula to get the sale done quickly. Logan wouldn’t have stood for the bullshyt because even Logan on the ropes still had leverage — so you’re not rushing him.

watched it again…so my angle was either everybody pooled in to work together to make this play or it was shiv who masterminded everything…but after the rewatch them coming together to make it work was “organic” and not necessarily the result of any one person…shiv immediately didn’t like how roman and ken were acting like she was “in the way” early on in the ep…huge ffwd to tom…I thought he was “sent” to go talk to the swedes but he decided to do that on his own and told greg he’d give him a sign to “move in”…again he made that play on his own but seeing tom and greg over there is what pushed the siblings to go over there too…and shyt just fell into place with shiv paying attention to the swede and her brothers to put the final nail in the coffin…their best and worst strengths/faults came together to push the swede to make that huge offer…great ep…gonna rewatch S2 now…if the 2nd half of this final season finishes strongly this may end up in my top 5

The three of them have to work together.

Roman without ken's stoic demeanor and feigned love is a neurotic weirdo. With him he has someone to compete with and someone to bounce ideas on.

Kendall without Rome is a good face of the company but has no business instincts or heart.

Shiv without a drive to prove herself to both of them (prior, to her dad) is completely aimless. But both the boys need her skill of manipulation which they act

again this post makes the most sense to me…I have a feeling the deal will fall thru but only bcuz this shyt feels likes it’s wrapped up too early (still 5 eps left)…and these 5 will be at the helm of the ship/continue to run the company…S1 made me realize the value of tom and greg…they are willing to fall on the sword for this company…and it was mentioned that ppl like that are invaluable to the company even more so if the higher ups don’t have to know about it…but they’ve shown their worth…that’s why shiv was so pleased with tom…the initiative he showed when he sat down with the swedes is what really got the ball rolling
