how many times in this thread have i stated my loan relief plan kill all interest on current and future loans. cut everyones current balance in half. i support this 10k relief

but no, i dont support forgiving the student debt of some future rich fukkin doctor who's 1 year out of school, and made 5 months of payments. because that's what these idiots on the far left are advocating

merit based relief, that recognizes that you've paid, is good policy. blanket loan cancellation is fukking bullshyt

this is a classic example of progressives' terrible "all or nothing" approach to policy

instead of proposing reasonable relief measures, that take into account where you chose to go to school, and how much you've already paid, lets just propose a stupid, unfair policy like "forgive all student debt", and then sit there in disbelief as it doesnt materialize

This really says a lot about Washington's priorities. Total student debt in this country is around $1.75 trillion. Nearly $1.7 trillion will be spent on the military's new fighter jet program.
