It’s really going to be hard to motivate your base whom of which a large part of them are millennials who are massively indebted in the midterms when they see what Pelosi said about student debt relief. They don’t care that millennials will be the first generation worse of than the previous generation since the silent generation. At this point they know they will lose the House in 2022 so they will have more excuses to not do shyt. Student debt relief is never going to happen. And we will look back at this time as the best time to do it because of the way gerrymandering works for the GOP in the house and how the senate favors conservative states in the next 15-20 years.

Most of the country has no college debt. And any debt relief should be a part of a larger more comprehensive package that addresses the increased cost of college and provide free public college or this is just a temporary windful to benefit top earners.
I've said overall I support student debt relief, but it should be reserved for those who are struggling, not just because a guy like me making really good money decides he just doesn't want to pay it off.

I don't give a fukk if it's popular, wiping out the debt is good for the country, and good economy. Sometimes you have to make hard decisions and don't give me that bullshyt about "it needs to be popular" because Democrats do TONS of unpopular shyt every fukking day big business. I've also never indicated it was popular the only thing I've ever said is it's good for the country and the economy which it is.
You're look at it in the wrong way. Government should be only interested in improving people's lives and this does that.

Which is why I said any student debt relief should be a park of a comprehensive package that makes public education free.
