I technically could pay off my student loans in a matter of a quick transaction, but why pay for something that might be free. @DEAD7 :umad:
Yep, I got $1000 set aside to pay off one of my loans right now, but since everything is on pause until The end of the September, and possibly might get cleared, why bother :russ:

Same breh. But let's be honest most of us are in this thread for selfish reasons. Why pay 10-50k if there is a chance you'll get to keep it? At least until interest rates go back into effect there's no point in paying the debt.
The people who really need forgiveness are probably not even in this thread but in the stimulus check thread fiending for that $1400

Well tbh, I maybe a bit more progressive than most people here but I’d be willing to pay more in taxes if it resulted in free higher education, basic health care with an emphasis on prevention and some type bond or trust worth 10k,for individuals at birth, that they can’t access until at least 45(not every will make it to 65, especially men of color.)

Where is this on the spectrum between 10k and 50k in likelihood?
Much closer to the 10k I think

when he was juelzing during the town hall about not doing 50k.. he alluded to still wanting to do the reformed PSLF. And he ran on the 10k plan and the reformed PSLF concept.

I think there’s a good shot

I don't even know what I'll do if that shyt comes through. Literally would clear my debt out :wow:

its a fair question :yeshrug:the proposed policy is completely arbitrary

you know what the problem with this shyt is? the implication that the problem isnt cost being too high, but that theres a cost at all

someone who chose to get a degree, and makes 6 figures because of that degree, when median income in america is like 40k... why shouldnt they have to pay for that investment :dahell: because they dont feel like it?

which is an acceptable answer, but it shouldnt be a surprise that theres not widespread support for "blanket pay off 50k of everyones shyt" :dead:
