We went to student loan forgiveness( which never happened for many) to a president who wants everyone to pay student loans at extreme values. One extreme to the other
student loan forgiveness just wasn't a priority for voters
that said folks can always earn money and pay off their loan like they were intended to

Yes it was, it was a major priority for the millennials and down that voted for biden. It was honestly why he received so much hype after him and bernie/Warren consulted with one another.
The problem is unlike republicans democrats govern based on all voters, republicans govern specifically based on their own constitutes

Biden came up with a Whole convoluted approach that he knew for at least 6 months would get blocked, he played politics and had cold feet withbwaiving student loans
