MOEHLA, the non-profit student loan servicer, was not a plaintiff in the case. But they are named as the party that will be injured. MOEHLA itself has been on record saying they have nothing to do with the case.

The state of Missouri was and Roberts and the conservatives didn't care that MOEHLA wasn't part of the case.

People with loans who are affected by this, need to take note of what side tried to help and what side didn't. There's people with student loan debt in red states and red districts
Elections have consequences. All that work progressives did to make this an issue didn’t mean anything because they didn’t have judges beholden to them in power.

So we back to blaming notorious rbg

If only there was some election 7 years ago, where the winner would have gotten to pick at least 2 of the justices that decided this issue. Nope, darn shame that didn’t happen. Who knows what would have happened with a president that didn’t literally appoint former Kennedy and Thomas clerks. Guess the world will never know.

Meh, even if she had stepped down during Obama’s term. If everything plays out exactly the same way, it’s still a 5-4 decision. Blame Mitch, the guy who held Scalia’s seat for a year and filled RGB’s before her body was even cold.
Nah I blame the democrats. They should've known how McConnell was going to act. Should've had rbg retire replace her and install term limits. They didn't because they truly don't want change.

Doesn't really matter when the end result is the same.

…..term limits? So you wanted them to amend the constitution, which would require 38 states to ratify the amendment in under 4 years? Do you have anything comparable to that from the last 60 years? Last amendment to the constitution was in like 1992 and that took 200+ years to ratify.

And I will never understand this logic. Republicans do some shyt you don’t like and you blame the democrats. I’m always gonna side with the people who aren’t actively moving against my interest.
