I don't see how student loan debt cancellation would only affect red states or blue states...college is unaffordable everywhere. Repubs are just the contrarian party right now.are red states really hating on student debt cancellation like that? i really don't get it. you would think it's something that only blue state residents would benefit from or something.
Conservatives really hate it, they hate it because either they already paid off their own loans or they never went to college at all and have no student loans. They have no empathy and don’t give a flying fukkare red states really hating on student debt cancellation like that? i really don't get it. you would think it's something that only blue state residents would benefit from or something.

They just want everyone to suffer because the majority of their lives are shyt and they don’t want to admit they did it to themselves. They are literally trying to bring everyone down to their level.are red states really hating on student debt cancellation like that? i really don't get it. you would think it's something that only blue state residents would benefit from or something.

I guess for me the problem is the votes were never there in the senate and executive action was always going to be challenged in courts.@Pressure
This comment was a On my part (I was/am legit upset) This situation should absolutely be used an example going forward. There is a very stark difference between a campaign promise and a “ok it’s done” promise. Considering this whole debate on this sub-forum with executive actions (one side saying “it’s just that easy” while the other side is it)…. I’m sure there are a lot of other Biden supporters which may not be so (for a lack of a better word) “understanding”.
Yeah, this. They really put the cart before the horse. It's definitely a shame for Biden to agree to restrict the president's ability to pause student loans again before the Supreme Court decides on the lawsuit.
This will definitely cause some backlash unless the Supreme Court upholds the forgiveness and/or there's a loophole for another moratorium.
