All I've seen is people nitpicking 1. Realisim and 2. Supposed plot holes.... My point is it's purposely campy 80s

No, it's a sci-fi horror show about a bunch of kids, one with special powers who fight interdimensional demons... Read that out loud if you must... It's supposed to be campy..
:snoop: The perpetual critics are never happy, they can never turn it off. It's an undiagnosed OCD if you ask me.

My Gen X cousins are nostalgic, their Gen Z sons and daughters are obsessed. I've anticipated every episode and season. Stranger Things is everything it's meant to be.

You don’t have to kill off a character to to make the show flow, or be good, i didn’t think Steve was going to die
Y'all keep missing the point

When you have a show about a monster, where death or the possiblity of death is looming, your tension and impact relies on that foundation of death.

The tension is "Shyt they might not make it" but the show has otherwise proven that certain characters are immune to dying. They telegraph those just as much as they telegraph characters that are obviously about to die *cough* Eddie

When favoritism is so apparent it robs the show of the tension it relies on. That's my issue

It's not about character deaths inherently being exciting, it's about the writers remaining consistent to the atmosphere they created

Predictability is a given in anything but there are levels. With Stranger Things far too much of the cast appears immune to anything too serious.

That's part of the reason why now there are so many characters with nothing to do, or why one of the saddest death scenes ever is immediately undercut by deus ex machina

Again I really enjoyed this season, but they stepped on their own feet a lot

It aint even that serious to be diagnosing nikkas :mjlol: :mjlol: :mjlol: :mjlol:

If I hated the show I wouldn't watch it

You can criticize something you love. Especially when you see that thing you live make mistakes and you KNOW it could be better

You're trying to win an argument I'm not having:mjlol:

I love the show, I mostly (pending) enjoyed the season.

There are parts I didn't enjoy and I'm addressing them because the show is not irremediable

If I had enough issues with the show I just wouldn't watch. Which is why I stopped watching anything Star Wars

Nikkas get so sensitive over anything that ain't bug eyed praise for the shyt they like:mjlol:

See, and that's the plothole for me.

I'm pretty sure this show has plotholes dating back to Season 1 and yet people are still watching Season 4, 6 years later.

Still watching, and still complaining.

I was ready to bush Stranger Things but this season got me back. Still some major issues but grouping them together focused the plot and I like where they took the story.

There's still a huge main cast though, the cutting back and forth was very hit/miss in this final episode.

Day one for the final season.

She whooped his ass when he had way more experience and she was like 8. So how is her beating him after three seasons of power ups ( against his minions) not logical?

She caught the nikka by surprise the 1st time :yeshrug:

Mike and Will are such woat characters :hhh:
Crazy how the show started based around them, now they’ve been passed up by literally every other character in the show, even the secondary ones

Murray & Yuri>>>> those 2 whiny, emo homo’s
Argyle>>>
The Russian soldier>>>

It’s irritating asf, they just had to push some homo storyline in there somehow. Mike got a girl Will need to stop being a gay simp :scust:

Directors said Will is going to have a big role in Season 5.

No it's not

Nikkas misuse the "it's for kids" excuse

You don't have a property with this many references and nostalgia bait and it not be for adults. The show is built for the consumption all age groups

And again that can't be an excuse for whatever flaws it does have

Nikkas don't see their hand in ruining shows with this ":damn:Just turn your brain off and consume DAMN" mentally. That's how you end up on season 9 wondering where everything went wrong

I've loved most of this season but I'm gonna call out bad shyt when I see it
:comeon: Breh it's targeted towards kids/teens first. All that 80s nostalgia is a backdrop to a bunch of kids running around fighting monsters. The youth are enamored with this show like many of us were enamored with Game of Thrones. Never saw GOT at the Nickelodeon Awards. :comeon:
