Fantastic season. Wes Craven would be proud of the imagery in most scenes. The demogorgons never did anything for me personally, but Vecna is on another level of intimidating.

Winona be hiding herself so damn much in this show that I forget she be having a body.

Yeah I was surprised when they did the clothes change scene in the church and her cleavage was poking

Best season thus far.

I knew Eddie was dying. He was way too likeable over these final two episodes. Dude was a great character. Sad to see him go. They chickened out with Max's death but I just want my dude Lucas to be happy. Great writing this season, though. Plot holes here and there? Sure, but the good far outweighed the bad for me. Vecna is a great villain and I love the reveal that he's the Mind Flayer. Makes sense considering its' shape always resembled a spider. This will be a tough act for next season to follow.

Great finale. I'm reading some of the criticism but, just remember, at its core, this show's main target audience is teens. If we were 15/16 years old, we'd unanimously view this as the goat tv show.

Nikkas misuse the "it's for kids" excuse

You don't have a property with this many references and nostalgia bait and it not be for adults. The show is built for the consumption all age groups

And again that can't be an excuse for whatever flaws it does have

Nikkas don't see their hand in ruining shows with this "Just turn your brain off and consume DAMN" mentally. That's how you end up on season 9 wondering where everything went wrong

I've loved most of this season but I'm gonna call out bad shyt when I see it

Felt like they were building up Steve to either die in the finale or take Nancy. Neither happened which seems like a waste of his character development this season.

The same thing with Max - they did a great job building up her character but if you’re not going to kill her off at the end at least spare us 1 or 2 of those last-second escapes from Vecna’s death grip. She escaped from his death grip 4 or 5 times this season alone, that is excessive.

They've been screaming with a megaphone that Steve is gonna die with all that telegraphing they did this season. They cheated with him just like they did with Max

Nobody wants to say it now because the hype is new but nikkas gonna admit it 2 years later like they always do

While the rest of the team was fighting a supernatural threat, Lucas and his sister were fighting white supremacy. Had them making spears....the jock cacs detaining them, made Lucas empty his pockets and beat his ass

That was a failed attempt at a spin off. That bytch will never be seen again

It would be good to have them back in the final season

Max limbs are broken, her vision is gone, and her mind is also gone. Vecna can easily possess her body like Billy

I wonder if anyone else saw the similarities between Pappa and L with Yoda and Luke. Both were told they weren’t ready for Vecna/Vader and to finish their training. Both were told not worry about their friends and at the end, they both decided to skip the training and rescue their friends. Not sure if it was done on purpose but that was dope to me.

There's a lot of Star Wars vibes in this season. Henry going postal at the facility in the flashback was Anakin at the Jedi Temple, they just actually showed this.



Unlike Anakin though, I don't see this dirt bag being redeemable. He tortured small animals and killed his own mom & baby sister. Anakin at least was manipulated to the dark side because of the love he had for his friends & family. All Vecna has ever known on the other hand is hate.

Netflix was having pretty rough publicity these last few months with the subscription drops and the price increases and whatnot. Some even saying that Netflix was about to die.

It's nice to see that they still have some strong IP that can keep them relevant and trending.

Great season but it definitely feels like we're in the endgame now. Those final shots felt like the start of a final boss battle

Theres a difference between suspending disbelief and excusing bad writing

This has been a great season but not without legitimate flaws
