Like nikka... the Mind Flayer is at the root of the entire series. You can't "move on" from the main protagonist EDIT: antagonist. Guess Harry Potter should have dropped Voldemort for Draco Malfoy too huh?

The word you are looking for is antagonist. Protagonists are hero characters; the kids are the protagonists.
Mind Flayer got its ass whooped twice, move the fukk on already.
They are remaking the same shyt over and over and it's largely due to them forcing that big ass shyt as "The Final Boss".
The season without The Mind Flayer (season 1) is better than any season including The Mind Flayer. What is the common denominator here?
Alot of why Season 1 works is because of the Horror Movie vibe the grunt monster from the first season brings. S1 monster can pop up anywhere and kept nikkaz on they toes the whole season.
Mind Flayer big ass can't do that.
it take Mind Flayer ten episodes just to set up shop, fukk that nikka.
