This was another thing I forgot to mention. This season’s started slow for me. The first time something was out of the ordinary everyone should’ve been on their shyt.

I never understood why the ice cream shop crew didn’t get help immediately. How long was Dustin at that damn mall anyway? Seemed like it was days. His mom wasn’t looking for him?

these damn kids are barely teenagers and none of their parents are wondering where they are.

even the hospital scene. the damn nurse at the front desk is yapping away on the phone while a whole floor is getting destroyed.

The first half of the season the kids were having sleepovers, The whole second half of the season was only 1 day I think, these parents prob just assume these kids are just hanging with each other and then at the fair which is why Hop & Joyce went there

Co sign on the other shyt tho, where the fukk was the entire rest of the hospital at? Lol

It’s a small town, everybody knows each other. It’s not like they’re roaming around Chicago.

This season was so weird. You'd think they'd be pros at this shyt by now instead of running off seperated the whole damn show

And just like season 2 the kids seem to get the least character development.

Yeah but these motherfukkas are literally away from home for 2 days at a time and none of them are covering for each other. You literally has Dustin and the crew trapped in an underground Russian hideout for days and even his own friends are like :yeshrug: when they finally see him

Had no idea Robin was Uma & Ethan’s daughter. I guess I just didn’t notice a resemblance:mindblown:
It's actually crazy she looks like both of them. I thought she looked more like Uma at times, but I did see Ethan Hawke a few times too :russ:

Finished it. Hate to say it but I think this show has jumped the shark big time. There was no expanding the universe whatsoever this season which it badly needs. I think this is in part to the backlash over episode 7 in season 2 which was bad but I see what they were trying to do. To much relying on the music, product placement, and nostalgia which is part of the show but it really came to the forefront and took over everything this season instead of playing the background.

-How is Hawkins not quarantined and sectioned off from the rest of the country by now after all the shyt that has happened there? That's where I thought shyt would get interesting when/if the US Government jumped in and got involved. I thought this world would be big after season 1 but in reality its gotten smaller and smaller as the seasons progressed. You got this giant monster running around and its just the kids and the 2/3 adults that are actually around and trying to do something. Where was everybody?

-what's the end game for the Russians and how do you build a base like that on American soil in full Russian military uniforms? Russia was enemy #1 back in the 80's. And there's no need to open up the gate to spy on Americans if you already have a massive base on US soil.

-They should've kept that serious tone from season 1. I really don't get how the kids go back to regular lives at the start of each season with the shyt they've been through. Also the characters not believing some strange shyt is happening after they went through Stranger Things shyt in the first two seasons:mindblown:

A lot of people in this thread scare to say the same thing.

This season was just ehh to me. I am anticipating season 3 of GLOW more than I was hyped for this.

This season was all over the fukking place and in a logical world the Russians would’ve killed all of these b*stards in the first episode. Even then, how the fukk do they build this elaborate shyt under the mask during the fukking Cold War?

All of it was a mess for me and I could care less about what season 4 looks like. It’s as if they literally let the kids from the cast write every episode and approved it because they knew this season would do numbers.

fukk this shyt. Bring on Power, season whatever, bring on GLOW.

Season 3 was goofy as fukk. Throw all logic out of the window if you’re gonna watch this shyt.

I kinda agree. I liked season 1 the most because it was more about the upside down and eleven.
Adding the Russians is weird because they just operating the gate for no apparent reason. Why are they opening the gate anyway, I never got a clear understanding of that. They buying land in Hawkins after events of season 1 and 2 and nobody bats an eye? They own the mall and nobody cares? Russian terminator would have killed everyone on sight if we being real :francis:

It's been 3 seasons and I still dont have a clear story on exactly what the upside down is, why it's hidden thru a gate, why eleven has powers and why the Russians want in.

Edit: It's also weird to me how they on the edge of life or death and they have time for Dustin and Suzie to sing songs on the walkie :mjtf:

Nothing but facts. I agree. And this would've been the perfect season to start explaining everything and getting deeper in their lore and backstories. They actually have dope serious material to work with in this show. The Upside down world, El and her mom, The Hawkins Lab Group, even her sister/the Indian girl just minus the street gang shyt. After season one I literally thought this was going to become the new "Lost" of this television/streaming era:noah: But now its all product placement, whimsical meaningless back and forth bickering and banter, gags and singing, filler episodes, and a new monster of the week.:francis:

They can still redeem themselves if they make the tone a little more serious and less comical.
They need to get back to the Upside Down, El & her origin and Dr. Brennar. Also maybe the other people with superpowers like they did in season 2 but I'm cool on the street gang stuff. Get back to that mystery and not relying on 80s nostalgia and product placement.
More random ideas: Lucas needs more backstory, Erica needs to be cut out almost completely, Max needs more backstory, Jonathan needs to stop using drugs in real life and they gotta figure out what they doing with Will. He lookin replaceable right now
