ghost's whole m.o. is doing shyt discreetly so no one is coming down on him. you don't bring heat on yourself unnecessarily. if you feel she's that close, you don't kill her, you kill tommy. only through him can all this shyt be linked to you.

so you kill her, then what you kill the members of the task force (who will look at the evidence she was gathering that got her killed) that's assembled to look for this US attorney killing ghost person. so instead of lawyers and the DEA doing this slow paper trail investigation because they are trying to build a case. they just straight up offer a million dollar or more cash reward for anyone who knows the whereabouts of a US attorney killing drug dealer that goes by ghost (and mention that he's a person of interest in the murders of rolla and nomar and any other drug related killings they can pin on him), so now all those black and rican bangers on the street who know him as ghost suddenly have incentive to turn him in quick for that million if the money wasn't enough.

If she IDs Tommy, she has Ghost as well. No else on her task force can do any type of damage with the amount of information she has. They're already trying to write it off. They can clip her now before she gets too close and it'll seem as if the people that hit Nomar figured it out. Hell, he clipped Rolla with even less evidence he was out to get them. say what you want, but Tommy is always right on the moves with street ish.

It's not about what she knows, it's about what they THINK she knows. They think that none of this was an accident and that she showed up to Truth that night to get closer to her target. Under that pretense, killing her would be beyond stupid. And if you do it, they need to contract that, can't have ghost or Tommy do it themselves
