it's a great plan but it lends itself to a "mass produced" solution.

unlike fighting their traditional methods this time a coded solution can fix everything with a simple "rewrite".

once a rewrite is found the solution is just a hop away.

Continuation of an DS9 alien and storyline yet no DS9 characters showed up or even named dropped so far :heh:



This was another great episode, the scenes with Georgi and Lore/Data in engineering was :wow:

Yeah, DS9 had the best cast in Star Trek and yet only Worf is in this despite the Dominion storyline.

In real life, they rebuilt the D bridge from TNG? I can't imagine the flim set from TNG still exist after Generations wrapped up filming

Its new:

"Matalas points out that because nothing was left of the Enterprise-D set from the ‘90s, what you see in Picard Season 3 “was totally rebuilt from scratch.”

This means that Picard production designer Dave Blass, along with Michael Okuda had to utterly remake the entirety of a set that hasn’t existed since 1994. On top of that, even though the lighting of the bridge will remind fans of the brightness of the ‘90s show, Matalas points out that newer camera technology had to be taken into account to recreate the mood we all remember."

Yeah....since "VOX" is a transmitter, they have an easy way out if they come up with a 'coded' solution
He can literally take direct control of the entire fleet AND all the Starfleet officers in it with his mind

After this episode, I would NEVER want to get into a Star Trek-style transporter even if it were possible to create one in real life

By hacking the transporter, you could basically re-create "The Fly" on a massive scale

or they could just transport the crews against their will to rewrite the damage. the fact that the story puts "entire" starfleet in earth space hints at something like this.
real mechanical borg can't be reversed so easily. if at all ...

resolution seemed kinda rushed and "easy" (the power of love!)....they defeat the queen in like half the hour so I was like wtf they gon do for 30 mins more

It's like you can skip season 2 entirely cause shouldn't that have been the queen, and not this palpatine rise of skywalker ass one we got?

wonder if they'll actually follow up with a jack show with Q...and Captain 7 :krs:
