i seen several daigo videos him playing as Ryu
he wuz good, but i've seen him lose some matches too, its hard to believe he's tha best to do it
i would think tha best would just get perfects on everybody (or damn near close)

I switch from Sagat & Ryu.
I pick carefully either of them to use against certain people and between those two I'm somewhat unstoppable.
For instance, no one heavier than Sagat is going to beat me when I'm using him.
Mid weight tier like Ryu/Ken I can sometimes have a problem with.
Lightning fast characters like El Fuerte & dyke karate girl (forgot her name) I'll usually lose.
But that's when I switch up to Ryu to counteract that faster opponent.
You have to know the match ups, what people are capable of, and openings.
Also, memorizing player's flow chart. Good players have extensive ones that are hard to follow or predict but most people have pretty easy to read flaws.

Oh I see. He's new to the game I'm guessing. It is very hard to get perfects in this game simply from the many ways of getting chip damage.
And sad to hear that the game isn't very popular here. It's probably my fav game this gen.
