NYC Metro area brehs, Queens is really like that? When you watch movies & TV shows that take place in NYC, they usually only take place in Manhatten or Brooklyn. So I really don't know how the other 3 burroughs are like.

Harlem is black on the west. The east side is Spanish Harlem. Washington Heights is mostly Hispanic. My area is mostly white on the west side with Ricans and Dominicans in the east. You know the racial make up easily when you see it.

In Queens you'll see a block with a group of Indians and their restaurants. The next block is Mexican. Greeks on the next block. Black and Hispanics, etc. There's blocks with an Indian restaurant next to a Mexican restaurant next to a halal restaurant. It's confusing as hell. I was looking at apartments there and couldn't tell if I was in the right part of town

I agree...casting a guy who looks like someone Flash would be shoving into lockers completely goes against the spirit of the character. Flash Thompson is the meathead jock/big man on campus who bullies Peter Parker.

I wouldn't worry too much about that. The kid is a good actor and they're doing their version of Flash. Wait and see if he can pull it off, then throw stones at him if he doesn't

Whoop ass yeah but swirly? And flash was never the "I'm going to beat you up" bully. He was the guy who'd clown Pete for being smart and a nerd and he was the cool kid and popular and Pete wasn't. It never got physical or even physically intimidating. It was all about him having the upper hand on Pete from a confidence level and making him feel like crap about who he is.

You have to draw the relationship on a thin line because these two do end up being really good friends. You can't have flash be a complete dikk to him beating him up and shyt

Nah they said she was Michelle not Michelle Gonzales. Writers theorized she was that character because she's the only Michele in continuity. But I think he's saying it was obvious it was a smoke screen because that character was like a blip on the radar so it wouldn't have made sense for the theories to be true and also if you've got a movie with Liz, flash, and Ned Leeds, why would you make a character up?

Queens is the illest place on earth. And it's a freaking melting pot and so many cultures sitting next to each other or on top of each other. Brooklyn has its spots where its diverse but its become hipster down..Manhattan is also diverse but not as diverse as Queens because of the money you gotta have to live in Manhattan. Queens being right next to Long Island helps a lot. But if you set a movie in a Queens high school, like i said yesterday, there's a good chance Peter would be a minority. Especially in Forest Hills.
