What does that even mean? Wonder Woman didn't have movies the caliber of Apes and Dunkirk dropping the next two weeks.

Spiderman is doing aight considering the franchise was considered trash because of the prior 3 movies.

To be fair Wonder Woman did have the Cars and the Despicable Me and box office juggernaut Transformers drop the same month it came out. They were just lucky some of them underperformed.

Really Wonder Woman was just so unlike everything else this summer so it had legs. Every other franchise this summer is tired and in their 4th or 5th (if not more) iteration.

Could it just be Spider-Man fatigue? Six movies within a 15 year span with 3 origin stories. And the last reboot series with 80 year old Garfield was mediocre
