Yup. And tobey and Sam were both heavily influenced by superman. In fact their three movies are spider man versions of superman 1-3. In superman he saves the day from the bad businessman. In superman 2 he gives up his power for love and then gets the girl in the end. In superman 3 he fights his evil half and wears a black costume

I never liked Toby McGuire even back in the day, dude was WAY too soft for Peter Parker.

Peter was a GEEK but he wasn't a p*ssy, especially after he got his powers - Tobey looked like he was going to cry in every scene he did with Kirsten Dunst.

They never allowed his peter to grow up. He had a very stereotypical view of how peter should be and it always irked me.

Honestly man, this isn't even the worst case scenario for the movie. Hard drop off, but didn't defeat the purpose of bringing him into the MCU.

More interested to see what JL and Thor do to each other's numbers

Thor is arguably the worst hero in the mcu, and his movies #s reflect that, it ain't gonna affect jl at all

He and T'Challa have the Infinity War lead-in juice...and a Hulk. I think it'll be the most successful entry in his series.

But JL has the Bat. Automatic victory.

I was explaining the MCU movies so far to someone recently and I literally couldn't tell them what the THOR movies were about. I ended it on some "if you like that Loki actor you'll get more of him"

I like Thor, but yeah, the movies have been terrible. 2 of the 3 worst Marvel movies yet and I don't consider the guy playing him to be much of a leading man. The trailer for the third one looks fun though.
