In one of the first high school scenes behind Peter there's a girl with platinum hair looking like Felicia Hardy too. I think those are deliberate easter eggs.

I gotta see it again to really see how it compares to the other spiderman films, well the raimi series really. Definitely better than tasm.
I hope the restricted licensing stuff doesn't water down their spidey world building in the future
I was surprised at what Keaton was able to do with a role like the vulture
They did a good job of making it feel familiar while also keeping it fresh for the most part (not one skyscraper swinging scene)
Glad I stayed away from promo stuff too cause Sony gonna sony
In the future I want them to bring more heat with these fight scenes man
I know he's the kid friendly hero but come on
Soundtrack wasn't very memorable either
Garfield's movies at least had that going for them
Keep the romance subplots in the background and it's looking to be a dope trilogy(?)

Nnitpick but the whole 8 years still was a bit of a plot hole and doesn't make sense since 8 years would've been 08 the birth of Iron man not Avengers since that occured on 2012

I think Avengers and everything that came before it took place around the same time (2008) and every movie/show after that happened in the year it was released but I'm sure you can find lines that contradict me here.

I think the first Avengers movie is chronologically in 2009. The first phase of movies pretty much immediately followed each other. Like Avengers was probably barely a week after Cap 1 lmao

This movie was produced by Amy Pascal and the great team over at Sony/Columbia. I didn't think they had another good Spider-Man film in them, they've already blessed us with a couple classics from Raimi but shyt, they got together and did it again.

This gives me high hopes for the Venom film. SONY is back in a major way.

Project Scorpio don't stand a chance. Spider-Man open world gonna crush the buildings too. Sony gang, come in here. Do we ever get tired of winning?
