I really enjoyed this.

Mysterio was dope, got strong vibes of the 90's cartoon during certain parts.
This is exactly what I was thinking. I really enjoyed this movie... like a lot!! I need to watch it again.

Can someone explain the blip. I went to take a piss and just missed it. The people that stayed are the ones that aged correct? Or was it the other way around?

The people who stayed are the ones who aged 5 years. The rest didn’t. So in reality, Peter should be in his 20s

Damn that was dope

It was almost 2 different movies tone wise. Enjoyed the 1st half, but the 2nd half was out of this world amazing, really felt like I saw a Spiderman comic book come to life between the action, visuals, plot, and ramifications.

Mid credit scene was crazy

But that end credits scene is what I want to discuss!

It was really cool seeing JK Simmons in the mid-credits scene, but the reveal of Spidey's true identity wasn't that big of a deal for me.
Since the Raimi movies, Spiderman has been removing his mask (I know, I know it's hard to show Pete's emotions while he's wearing his mask) any time he fights a villain.
A quick count:
Harry and Norman Osbourne,
Doc Ock,
Both MJs,
Gwen Stacy
Aunt May,
Eddie Brock,
Electro,
Miles Morales,
Mysterio,
The Lizard,
The Vulture,
An entire NYC bus (or subway car, I can't remember) full of passengers,
Anybody who was watching (and probably recording) Spiderman fight the Sandman and Venom,
And some other random people I may have forgotten,
Have all seen Spiderman unmasked.
There's no way that none of them spilled the beans before this movie.
My only gripe with the MCU Spiderman movies is that they insist on showing Peter's face when it defeats the whole purpose of him wearing a mask in the first place. Even with a mask, MCU Spidey can emote, a lá Deadpool. I wish they'd find a way to keep Pete's mask on.

I saw it last night. The Mysterio effects were crazy.

I kinda felt like knowing the comics tainted the experience for me a little. Because I know the characters, I felt like the movie didn't really start until "the turn" happened. Up until then I was just waiting for it to happen and couldn't relax until it did.

Mid and post credit scenes were CRAZY!

On a side note, I'm not one to PAWG, but can we discuss how much finer Marisa Tomei has gotten since her days on A Different World?
She must have some of those Regina King/Nia Long genes, because she's aging so damn gracefully.
:banderas:

Don't get it twisted, I'm not abandoning my melanated ladies. I'm just giving the devil her due (no pun intended).

Aight.. I came to talk about the post credits but idk if we can yet... I don’t feel like going out of my way to use spoilers

But what I will say is, I wonder when we’ll find out who bought Avengers Tower

I mean..as soon as they gave different answers for what type of relationship they had his job was done :pachaha:
Yo....the comedy was perfect in this movie. Very well done.

This is the Spids that we were owed as loyal fans to the brand since childhood :wow:

I think that's misinformation, they also said the snap wouldn't be undone. His Rights are the same as Hulk. He can cameo but can't star. Meaning using him as a villian is likely the only way he will be in the MCU.

not to be about semantics .. but technically the snap wasn't undone... 5 years passed and every body aged..

the snap being undone which is what I thought was gonna happen meant going back to the end of infinity war and everybody reappearing then

Not sure if this was reported in here....

Feel free to repost this for the so called cats that have me on ignore:skip::duck:

as long as Venom and Sinister 6 are somewhere in these films i'll ultimately be satified

Carnage would be the cherry on top of the cake tho but im not expecting that

But semantics is exactly what i mean though. Technically he right, Namor rights are partially owned by Universal the same way Hulk is. So we won't see a Namor movie. But like Hulk they can easily put Namor in someone elses movie. So they are trying to use semantics to avoid spoilers but at the same time have been dropping subtle hints the he will appear in the MCU, possibly in BP2.

But those subtle hints are only coming from people who believe they're subtle hints. You could argue the opposite. So those hints are just what people want them to be. That's another reason why I don't think he's bullshytting when again, this is legal shyt not comic book story shyt. The Namor rights have been tangled up for years. Could it happen? Of course. But I wouldn't assume it would nor would I assume those are hints just because.

Man fukk carnage:hhh: keep him as far away from a Spiderman movie as humanly possible
