This is non spoiler but it’s like two different movies. The first half feels very much like an extension of homecoming. Then something happens and the second half is a completely different movie and doesn’t feel like any Spider-Man movie yet. And that’s where a lot of the “oh shyt” moments happen

Does it feel like it sets up a lot of stuff for phase 4 MCU? Or is it pretty much self contained ?

It does and it doesn’t. It sets up a few things for the larger world but most of the big setups are for Spider-Man
