If that is true I wonder what Robert Downey Jr is going to do with his career? It is not like the dude has distinguished himself lately apart from Marvel, Sherlock Holmes and now soon to be Dr Doolittle.
I don't even remember him much before 2008 and I watched The Judge, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, US Marshals, Air America (yeah I know), Back to School and Less Than Zero in the theaters.
He was not exactly knocking down the academy's doors before this superhero career that I cannot imagine him in anything else.

He’s good for comedies, depending on the roles and maybe talent. Tropic Thunder and Due Date were funny.

I'm talking about in terms of the marketing... you haven't noticed how they branding it as a fEMALE HERO in the marketing all throughout the titles in the background of the trailer...

shyt is obvious pandering towards the female markets man... the reason why Wonder Woman worked for DC is because Gal Gadot is gorgeous (not enough ass IMO) but still a dime, actually looks the part of Wonder Woman and they did not PANDER just to females...

This chick in Captain Marvel physically looks nothing like carol and is kinda boring. She doesn't even look like she's having fun and comes across monotone in her delivery...

Why wouldn't they heavily market to women? it's not like there is a lot of solo female comic book character films and yes Wonder Woman was heavily marketed to women :really1:

Although the trailer makes it seem that Pete doesn't pack the Spider-Man suit because he just wants to be Peter Parker on his vacation. Maybe Peter doesn't pack the suit because Tony dies in Engame and the suit that Tony gave Pete reminds Pete of Tony too much.
