Hyped.

Looks like Mysterio a good guy...at first. Wouldn’t be surprised if they Baron Mordo his character where he starts out good and some event changes his outlook on things which turns him bad.

Speaking of, also wouldn’t be surprised if they tie his backstory to the mystical arts and the Ancient One. A lot of that magic and mystical symbols look hella similar to the shyt the magic weilders be doing.

Naw he is a sfx guy.

Wow. Movie gonna kill it. I guess I don't get the hype.

Over two years after Wonder Woman drops and people still underestimate the power of the female dollar? :wow: So much cash is being lost on toys and paraphernalia because y'all can't get it through your heads there's a legion of girls and women who are hungry for representation. :mindblown:

It’s crazy to me how that works :russ: females are still the majority of the filmgoing population at least as of a few years ago. Of course they want representation

The thing is the character they are giving this mega push. Comic fans, in particular Marvel fans, have always appreciated women superheroes. Whether it be Storm, Rogue, Jean Grey/Phoenix, Invisible Woman, etc. Personally I wouldn't actually mind Rogue getting a major push. She has a dope power and had a interesting and tragic backstory.

And that’s a completely fair and logical argument. Like I told @Still FloW the other day, that argument gets drowned out on this board with the other noise around it which comes off as a giant he man woman haters club.

I’d love to see them do something interesting with rogue. shyt or more with black widow. I think a lot of it comes down to who they had available to them at the time. Maybe if they had the X-men years ago or the FF, one of them could’ve been in this spot but you gotta play the hand you’re dealt. Those who like carol will be down and those who don’t know her will be open to be down. Those who aren’t, they’ll miss it.

It’s how I feel about ant man actually. Character does nothing for me and never has. So I’ve never felt compelled to see the movies. The main reason I knew he was getting pushed is because Edgar Wright willed it into existence and that was the hook for me. Once he was gone tho? Meh.
