• He then put a BOUNTY on spiderman's head
• he brainwashes parker to thinking he IS the green goblin
• he became director of SHIELD after shytting on Ironman, why? Just to execute 'the list' which ended with... KILL SPIDERMAN
• He injected Spiderman with goblin serum to making him his successor

Venom is pretty much just a bully to peter parker and not even as dedicated as sabretooth is to wolverine

Of course they did. They introduced villains based on who would sell the most toys. Hence the spider slayers. And venom and carnage. And the hobgoblin because kids responded to those colors.

John Semper was constantly at war with the producers and the network trying to right the ship of the show and wishing he had the freedom Bruce timm and his crew had with Batman.

i was watching one of those vids the history of 90's spidey, and supposedly they gave timm some leeway with violence because BTAS looked like it took place in the 20's and shyt and spidey looked too modern

crazy if that's true, but it sounds stupid enough yo be plausible...FOX was weird with censorship

Spider-Man couldn’t land on buildings with pigeons because they thought it meant he would squash them. They couldn’t shoot guns which is why they did lasers. No blood which is why Morbius did “plasma” and they couldn’t say “sinister” because it was too evil which is why it was the “insidious six” and of course they couldn’t do death which is why MJ fell through a portal when she was thrown off a bridge
