because they couldn’t kill mj in the cartoon they had green goblin send her to another unknown universe. She never appears in the series again after that episode so it was like she was killed off but Spider-Man gets her back with madame web’s help in the series finale

That's why I said the trailer is a mess. The plot looks hard to translate to a trailer where they trying to cram on all the fan fare and visuals. Also too much Dr. Strange, I am not fan of him and he's hogging up half the trailer
