HBK still giving no fukks, busts ass in the opening two battles, then commences in a foursome. :yes:
Simp Crixus back to his OG pre-quel look with the Bret Hart hairdo. His exchange with Naevia in the tent was :obama: - gonna have to try and spit some of them lines to the GF. I still hope we see that :boss: Crixus again though, just isn't the same.

They took the gore to another level as some of the death scenes were just simply :wow: Spartacus two-headed decapitation was excellently executed, and HBK's smirk in the background when it went down was priceless :laugh:

Overall this is going to be a tough season to root for the group as Crassus had arguably the best debut for a villian. I couldn't even hate on dude after that final battle and playing the game with the other Senators. We finally get an EP where Sparty doesn't show remorse/sadness as he was relentless and clearly on the other extreme for being possessed for conquer Rome.

This season is looking crazy :dj2:

yeah unless they deviate from history. It was Pompey who took down Spartcus rebellion so I thought they would have made him the bad ass.

But they don't care about history considering they putting ceaser in there as a young man when he was prob a baby or not even born at the time.

Actually it was Crassus who took down Spartacus. Pompey took the credit. Pompey was known for taking credit for some major events in battles that he didn't really put much work in.

Julius Caesar was around as well just a rising star and not really a big name during the war on Spartacus. I think he was something of a protege to Crassus.

I always thought Crassus was just a rich guy (to be fair most generals were) and Pompey did all the work.

But you sure Ceaser was around? If he was was he had to be a kid.

edit looked it up he was around 25 so they have it right.

Spartacus (presumably) died in 71 BC at age 38, and Julius Caesar would have been 29, however historically they never actually crossed paths though he was a tribune under Crassus during the war. Very few things are known about caesar at this time and his involvement in the war was a recent discovery.

nah breh it was Crassus that did all the work....I like his portrayal on the show its what I imagined he'd be like. Ill season premiere they doing it right :eat:

Yeah, Crassus was insanely rich. I really hope Pompey is in. The relationship between the three would make great TV cause while Crassus and Pompey hated each other Caesar was good homies with both of them.

While he was the weaker of the two he's the one that :eat: most out of the co-op.

I hope so too, it's great that the the trio is in but it's all for nothing if Caesar ends up lame.
