Beautiful nostalgia and the basketball references.. The pop culture references were piff

Honestly I think of this as more of a money than the first one but less enjoyable because of it.


The first one was really let the Looney Tunes be the looney Tunes. It was like a regular episode + MJ. So if you could watch a regular episode of Looney tunes and enjoy it and you liked MJ and good music, you’ll eff with it. Not the most pioneering plot wise but simple and sweet.


Space Jam 2 was more of a Lebron James/Looney Tunes collaboration + an HBO commercial where they really built off each other and the Toons were issued more as IP to interact with other WB IP. The plot overall was more movieeqsue but the Looney Tunes weren’t as in their element, if that makes sense
