We'll just disagree...SOA has always been a very violent show so I don't know why you're just now being offended. Otto had his eye carved out. One dude had a shiv shoved in his ear. The traitor Son had his tattoo/skin burned off. Gemma was beaten, gang raped and beaten again. But you just now getting offended?
It's not 'offended' like a devout Morman or some shyt watching, the stupidity and low brow nature of the violence, and these overwrought scenes, when Gemma was raped, that shyt was brutal, these latest, just have no feeling to them, it's just brutal violence, like dude said to cover up sloppy writing, and punch up the episode. When Clay beat down Gemma, that was vicious, and ugly, but I felt it, it was grounded in reality, the rest of this is just in bad taste. Kill Tig's duaghter, kill Opie, kill whoever you want, but add some heart, some realism, something to connect the viewer, if you want to show the ugly side of violence and a life of crime, this shyt kind of makes a mockery of it, imo.
so far to me. 
Opie takes the next L (in a death I thought was fitting for him since his entire character is based on sacrifice) and they complain about that.
